What do you think of Kirsten's School Bench?

I am thinking of getting Kirsten's school bench with bucket and ladle as well as her school dress. Does anyone have this and do you like it? Do you play with it or is it one of those things that just sits there?

Ria has it and she gave me one incredibly glowing review after it came. She loves it.

I have this and think it is very cute! I have a really old one, but I don't think the design has changed, but I'm not totally sure. It's a little small, but it's a real half a log with the bark still on and everything- so darling! The bench is polyurethaned or something too, so it's nice and glossy and doesn't give splinters. The bucket and ladle are perfect- the bucket is just like a real antique wood one with metal accents.

I use mine a lot- it's displayed year round in Kirsten's "school house"- a shelf in my bookcase with the school bench, all her school stuff, and a salesman sample potbelly stove. I also played with it A LOT as a kid- my favorite was to play school. I think it's a good deal too compared to the other desks, and Kirsten uses the bucket for her farm work display too- I dress her up in her work dress and she heads off to milk the cows! As Rachel put it, I have it and love it!!!! The details are wonderful on the school bench, which is made of real wood!!! [img]wink.gif[/img] I love the bucket and spoon that came with it. Again, the details are so nice and really captures the details of an authentic pioneer bucket, spoon and bench that Kirsten would had. I know need to pick up Kirsten's school supplies and lunch. Also, the best thing on the bench, is that it does not take much space! mine at the moment is under Kit's table in a corner of my room. And you can use the box the bench came in to store other accessories!

I like it, it is very appropriate. But it is a little small, IMO.
